- To avoid wrong order placed or wrong item you bought. Please be sure about your Macbook Air SSD (7+17 pins) , it is only USB 3.0 External Reader for (2012 only) A1465 A1466 .
- If your SSD is formatted with a MAC operating system, it is not compatible with Windows operating systems, so a new SSD without a partition. It cannot be displayed under My Computer. Please delete the old partition and create a new partition in the “Disk Manager” in Windows.
- Please identify interface definition of your SSD.
- Please note that the query rated current of SSD, compute maximum power supply current is 1A of USB 3.0 interface, if the USB port can’t provide enough current to the SSD, the computer can’t identify or can’t work well because the power supply can’t meet requirements.
- Don’t to use USB extension and HUB, because it will lead to insufficient power supply.
- Data lines connected to the computer’s USB port after the home for desktop.
- The SSD work will release heat, the shell fells very hot, this is normal.
